This is what the sky looked like last night while I was waiting for Greg outside the ceramics building.
Speaking of ceramics. I'm almost done with everything. I have to:
- Make and attach a handle to one of my pitchers.
- Glaze the other two.
- Glaze a jar.
- Raku a cylinder and a sculptural bowl.
- Sgraffito a cylinder.
- Stain a cylinder.
- Do slip trailing ("Slip (a liquid clay) is applied to the greenware through a tube or nozzle, much like icing a cake.) on the last cylinder.
I should be done with all of that by the beginning of class on Tuesday. Since that's the last day the gas kiln is going to fire. I still have to do an animation project and get my final portfolio together for my Photoshop class. The animation project is going to be the most difficult project yet, but putting together the final portfolio isn't going to be difficult. Then I have a few more journal assignments to write for Film Theory, and a 10 page final paper. Due next Thursday. That's it. Seems like a lot, but I think I'll make it.
