No way!

After 11 years they ended Toonami...

When I saw the video I was actually really sad. It was big part of my adolescence. I watched it since it started; I was 13. All the awesome shows, my favorites being: Sailor Moon (note: I was 13 and a girl; don't judge me.), DBZ, Gundam Wing, Rurouni Kenshin, and a few others that came later.

My master plan.

I have figured out a great master plan.

I am going to get my MFA in Photography and teach at a university. I can do fine art photography on the side.

It's perfect.

Photo I.

I'm taking a photo class this semester, and I don't think I could be happier. I can't believe I ever doubted myself that this is what I want to do. It's amazing. I couldn't imagine not doing photography. I like digital photography, but it's nothing like developing and printing your own photos. It's feels more organic to print in the darkroom. It is very, very time consuming and the darkroom chemicals make your mouth and throat dry. But I love it. My professor said that our generation is probably the last generation to learn how to print in the darkroom. You can already kind of see it happening two out of three companies that make the paper have stopped. One of those companies being Kodak.

Here are some pictures (not of the darkroom obviously):

First negatives.
The first negatives I developed on my own.

After hours in the basement and darkroom it's nice to sit outside the building on a day like this:

Not again.

I will not sign petitions against the new facebook. Webpages are always going to evolve and change whether for good or bad. I personally like the new facebook, it's not that difficult to use and I like the idea of the filters for posts and such. I've been using the new one for a few months now.

I used to hate when things would change, but lately I've just come to embrace new technology and actually look into why they changed things. Of course there are certain aspects that I don't like, but that doesn't mean I'm going to hate the whole thing. Anyway, I predicted that this was going to happen when I started using the new facebook. It's silly.
